Food is alright, but their chicken burger is a scam. You have to look really hard to find chicken inside.

So good!

Fantastic specialty dessert with mango ice cream fresh berries, rice noodles in a delicious pudding and a beautiful edible flower. Not finding it on the menu on the web site so it may be part of the Mumbai specials this month.

0/5.
Horrible service. Rude.
My partner was hungry so we we decided to stop here. He ordered his food, then the waiter looked at me and asked if I wanted anything. I said no and told him we would share since I wasn’t too hungry.
He told me the food my partner ordered wasn’t shareable.
I looked at him and asked if I could “just try a bite” and he then said “NO”
Super weird being told you can’t even try a bite of your family’s food, since it’s our money being spent.
Food rating: 0/5 since I was told I couldn’t try it
Don’t go here, try somewhere else. Do not spend your hard earned money here just to be told you can’t try the food.

Have been to Zaika multiple times and have always loved it. And because of our great experience every time, we chose them as caterers for our wedding. They did not disappoint, the food, the service, the drink, the presentation... everything was just perfect. Raphael had been really helpful throughout the process, even helping address dietary restrictions of some of our guests.
Would highly recommend them for events!

Great service and great food

Soft spoken service, great food...but the particular dish I ordered had a lot of bones in it. Asked me if I wanted to get a box to take the leftover bones home.

The menu is simple and focused. The stuffed paneer was perfectly spiced as was the shrimp curry. Overall a great place to grab a quick meal before a show at the Paramount

Enjoyed the food and ambience, friendly staff would recommend and visit t he restaurant again

Opentable Diner

Thé server wasn't to personable and didn't make any recemonnedations. There wasn't any music, and zaika has removed all the color from their building. The food is flavorful, but the pricing warrants a bit more from the portions Can't say enough positive things about the drinks, and the bartender that crafts them. May work better as a bar

We understand that staff was extremely busy considering it was Valentine's Day. Although, we were disappointed with the food and service. It took about an hour for my girlfriend's cocktail to arrive. Other couples who arrived before us got their entrees first. Our main entrees took about 2 hours to come out. When they finally came the food was cold. By this time we were ready to leave and asked for to go boxes, which took another 30 minutes to get. I'm sure on a typical day the food and service is much better. Also the 2 desserts they offered were not impressive.

Don't come here if you're in a hurry or hungry. We got our entree an hour and 45 minutes after we sat down, and it was served cold. It would have been fabulous warm - very nice flavors. Maybe try this place on a time/night they're not busy?

We were very excited to find an upscale Indian restaurant and the experience did not disappoint. The naan was superb and the golden sesame leaf chaat was to die for.

Zaika is a famous spot for Indian food in the Pike Street area. The food tastes really good. I tried butter chicken and the gravy was outstanding. I also had Bhindi Masala and that was pretty decent too.

However the ambience of this place, the restaurant is over priced. Because it's so pricey with a very average ambience, the place is definitely not a 5 star spot.

Moreover the curries doesn't come with complimentary rice. That is a norm in USA for Indian restaurant. So you need to either get extra Basmati or Briyani rice.

If this already doesn't add to your owes, the will impose a mandatory 18% service tax. And then expect a tip too. I am sorry with just two dishes with average quantity and a rice and bread and taxes - my check is already crossing $80+.
Don't expect tip.

There are more affordable Indian restaurant with better Food Safety Standards delivery same flavours that Zaika does.

Excellent food, Attentive staff, and quick service! Kimi was great! We had vegetarian food and each item was delicious! We ordered Paneer (cottage on the pond), kale salad, jackfruit kofta, and veg biryani. They were very well prepared with right spice level. My son said the Mango Lassi was awesome. My old fashioned cocktail was nice and my wife’s Jamun mocktail was made per her request without any sweet. She loved it. I didn’t expect the biryani to be this good. It was hot and delicious. The old fashioned had such perfect round ice ball, I was so curious about it. Kimi got the someone to show me the mold they use and how it works. Their location is convenient, but parking on the Pike St is expensive.
