We have enjoyed breakfast at 42nd Street for years, and just recently realized that it is open for dinner. A group of six of us had the most wonderful experience there last Friday evening. Isaac welcomed us and Amalie, our server, did an EXCELLENT job taking care of us. We throughly enjoyed our entrees and the cocktails were fantastic. We highly recommended 42nd Street Cafe and Bistro for breakfast and for dinner too!
What a really cool place and a amazing experience!! The owner greeted us and was so friendly. We were very happy with where he wanted to seat us which we can be difficult about that lol! The coffee was delicious and my husband ordered one of the best bloody Mary's he's ever had with yummy pickled veggies. I was craving a burger and fries, hubby ordered the smoked salmon Scramble and everything was TDF! Even his toast was special. My burger I would say was ground in house....
This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is so cozy. The coffee is amazing (I had decaf and my husband had regular). And you know it’s a good breakfast spot when they give you a pot of cream for your coffee instead of those little plastic cream cups. We ordered the beignets and some breakfast. The beignets were so delicious!! I had the smoke salmon scramble which was very delicious as well. My husband had the eggs and meat with a side pancake which he enjoyed. Overall,...
