Small but family-friendly. We ate here on our way into town. When we finished our vacation, we ate here again on the way out so we could get the chowder and the halibut fish and chips again.
They were not delivering on this date, but the restaurant was easily found. We had the fish n chips, clam strips, and clam chowder. We drove by this place when we came into town, and it looked like a small set-up on the side of the road. The food was great & the food was well-priced - who would have thought?! We definitely recommend the Loose Kaboose and will return.
We ate in. The waitress was very pleasant, all smiles. The food was delicious. I had the halibut fish and chips and shared a bowl of chowder with my other half. The halibut was nice and flakey, and the batter was crispy, and tasted clean, not sloppy and oily like I've had at many other places. The crinkle cut fries were awesome, a thinner version, which was very satisfying, the coleslaw was more vinegar than mayo, which was a very pleasant surprise, that I really enjoyed....
