We moved to Washington from SoCal a few months ago and we have not been able to find good Mexican food until now. The service was amazing and the food was as good as I have had. We got in a little early (5:15 PM) and grabbed a booth immediately, but the restaurant was filling up quickly about the time that we left. So, the wait time for us may not be the same for those who go closer to 6.
This place is definitely a big hit of the town for a reason! While the food was absolutely great, the service was truly splendid—attentive, welcoming, and accommodating. The absolute best part? They offered to prepare literally everything on the menu as a vegetarian option, giving us a huge, massive list of choices. It is so rare to find a Mexican spot this accommodating without sacrificing flavor. A total gem!
I enjoyed everything about this place. House made corn tortillas and salsa and beans, consistency was just right. The shredded chicken seasoned well, everything tastes fresh and not overly dressed. Attentive and friendly service. A great mix of old Woolley building structure with the Mexican art flare and music brought it all home. The banquet room will be great for a celebration event.
