This is a very cozy space, with a homey atmosphere that is very warm and inviting. The service was excellent, we were sat with no reservation on an evening when there was only one table left. So we felt quite lucky. The food was hands down amazing. We did somewhat of a wild mushroom extravaganza, and not a single dish disappointed. We even bought a pizza to go we were so impressed. The carrot cake and the cheesecake were so good, not too sweet but still very flavorful and delicious....
We were visiting Sequim from out of town and Alder Wood seemed like it was at the top of everyone’s list. We had arrived and unfortunately they were fully booked for the evening, however we were able to do takeout. The hostess helping us was the sweetest woman and was able to expedite our dinner order in the kitchen and then hand deliver the food to our vehicle in the parking lot. It shows how much this place just cares about its customers and is a model of the amazing Sequim...
