I was going to get a membership today.
went in with some friends and the cashier was so rude to them I changed my mind.

Told me the battery that was under warranty DID NOT COME FROM COSTCO. Problem is, it says right on Costco right on it. instead of warranty, they took it as a core and charged me full price on the new battery.
