Eaten here twice now since opening and have not been disappointed. Both times were the mini and that was really a good portion for lunch. First round was the BBQ chicken. Excellent flavor. Second time was the katsu chicken. Excellent crispy outside and tender inside. Gravy. Rice. Mac salad. Will be a go to for lunch breaks in sequim.
So all the meats here were so tasty. However, the rice served with the “Broke Da Mouth” sampler and the musubi was almost porridge-like texture. There was so much water in the rice it was basically mush. Everything else was so delicious! Maybe I just caught it on an off day? If Da Kindz can fix the rice problem, I’m going to be there all the time! 🤙
It's very seldom, and very rare for me to give out a 5-star review. I dislike numerical metrics for as a rating system, but this would be a solid 4.8 for me.
Parking is a little confusing and sometimes hard to find, but it's worth it. Good Polynesian food is almost impossible to find. It's worth stopping in and worth trying.
