When you read a review like from Jake a few days ago talking about his view of any potential hygiene issues about this restaurant, if it does not meet your cleanliness standards, just don't go back. Most businesses do not operate at clean room levels.
This cute, cozy and charming place has eclectic decor. Ice cream, drinks, soup, sandwiches, pies and chili. Very small menu.
The owner is friendly, kind and pleasant to speak to.
I come for the chili and pie. Both are delicious. I add on sour cream and cheese with Fritos to my chili and get a bowl. It’s enough to fill me up for two meals. But for most a bowl is nice and hearty to fill you up. A cup will want you craving for more.

Real food, home made.
Sandwiches were delish.
More importantly, the pies are perfect home made recipes. No suprises, except for example the perfect balance between fruit and sugar to highlight the fruit, and exquisite-yet-simple crumble crusts on the Marrion berry!
Lisa offered terrific, friendly, down home service as well. What a delight!
