Heading to Olympia from Port Orchard and was hungry, and I found El Vagon on Google Maps. I haven’t eaten this good of Mexican food since moving here from the SF Bay Area. Would I be willing to drive 45 minutes to eat here again? You can count on it.
Five stars for each of the last few years worth of meals. I have never been disappointed, only surprised. Clearly they set a standard and have never wavered from it. The atmosphere is clean quiet and friendly, not a typical food truck.
I ordered the birra quesadillas, they were okay. Not sure I would order them again. Husband ordered the beef burrito and it was HUGE and very tasty! Well money spent! The side of beans that came with mine were soooo good! There was actual beans in it, not just pureed slop! So much favor!!! They also came with fried jalapenos and they were so good!! We will for sure come back. Service was amazing as well!
