Searched for "authentic Mexican" and La Guera seemed to be a good bet. Seemed a bit sketchy being a part of a gas station but the moment you step in the door, you know it's not a normal convenience store. The "wet" burrito was very good. The staff were super friendly. We live 2 hours away but are already making plans to come down to Shelton just to get good flavors.

I’m a quesadilla girl, and they blew it out of the park. I came to town to visit my brother and the normal taco truck on the hill wasn’t there yet so I googled Mexican food and they popped up. Had no idea it was there. Sooooo

So, wanted some Mexican food and this place had great rating, so off we go. Did not expect the place to be in a gas station. But what the heck, we're hungry. The person working there was very friendly, service was excellent and my mulitas was excellent. My friend said her enchiladas were delicious.
