Awesome variety of food, seriously good fried oysters, and really genuine staff. It was a great 1st experience. We will be back as soon as we can. It's 3 hrs from home but worth it!

Options for quality dining are pretty slim on the outskirts of Shelton. Thank God for Spencer Lake Bar & Grill. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The menu is unbelievably large with so many food options that everyone will find something they enjoy eating. The restaurant itself is very "country" but that makes it "casual" and since it sits right on the lake, the views are relaxed and beautiful no matter the season. If you're in the area and want a cold drink or a good home style meal, give this place a try, you won't regret it!

Fries and onion rings were fantastic! Had the bacon Bleu chicken burger, vegetarian omelette, and kids burger. All were delicious and well prepared. Didn't realize the chicken sandwich came with pickles and red onions as well as what was listed in the sandwich description but it wasn't a big deal to remove. Staff was friendly. If we are hungry on a drive through, we may stop here if only for more onion rings.

Parking: Parking is across the street but there is a crosswalk and people are going to be more locals who know the drill.

If I could give it a 0 I would!! I came in once ( and that was all I needed) to get cool and get in out of the heat ( about 3 years ago ) because I was riding my bike. Well I go to the bar and give everyone I saw, who would even look, a nod and a smile when I walked to the bar and ask for a drink ( Jim beam and coke), when the bartender gives me a look that would stop a clock!! I thought maybe I'd killed someone or something. Yes I had my leathers on and my long hair was scruffy because c'mon you're going to look a little scruffy when you have been riding all day and it's 90 degrees out, but no reason to turn me down for a drink because, she thought I was inebriated and I hadn't had a drink all day. No if you're a biker don't expect to be greeted with open arms, get back on your scoot and get as far away from that place as you can. Bad, place. She turned me down for my drink btw, said I was already drunk!!!?? ??? Now I'm a type man that believes people can have bad days sometimes and I'm a forgiving man, but this chick looked you up and down with a sour look on her face that would have made your mama turn over in her grave!! No, not for me!!
