We were coming back from a long North Cascades trip and we're in the mood for some Indian, didn't really care for how authentic, just some Indian, but The Chennai Cafe just blew me away with their food. The first bite of their Podi Idli transported me back to my home. If you have seen Ratatouille, I had the Ego ( the food critic) moment. The Gongura chicken and the Paneer Chetinad were superb and I could taste the different spices used even some I could never taste in...

Amazing food and great vibes. The non-veg thali was top-notch the chicken and mutton curries were rich, perfectly spiced, and full of authentic flavour. Super satisfying to find an incredible South Indian thali that is 100% Halal. Highly recommended!

I happened to stumble upon this place for a Thursday night dinner. Was immediately blown away by the traditional decor of the dancing dolls at the entrance. I loved the varieties of the dosas they had and the vegetarian starters. The service was warm and welcoming. This made us revisit on a Wednesday during their tiffin buffet. I’d highly recommend this! My toddler ended up eating 6x her normal dinner amount. Every single item was top notch, even though it was a buffet.
