The food was okay, but this is not a complaint at the franchise or location of this franchise. Acai and coffee is just really overpriced and homemade version can easily taste so much better. I got a 16oz latte and a small acai bowl for ~20$ including tip.

It breaks my heart to write this review since this is/was my go to coffee and breakfast on the go spot but today was Such a Huge disappointment. I placed in order through the drive through, and was again, saddened to hear that they were out of the mango acai smoothie and spinach. I then pulled up to the window and waited and waited and waited. There were 2 girls working, and people coming in but the wait time got Ridiculous. I finally just pulled away. I Absolutely love the Amazing coffee, acai, and food but I honestly don't know if I will be back. The girls working could have come to the window and apologized for the wait but they left me hanging. There was 2 cars behind me and I don't know if they waited but my time is precious.

I've been going here regularly since it's opened. Energy Bowls are good. Went yesterday, ordered two, and got yo the counter & they nonchalantly attempted to UPCHARGE ME. I asked, and they said, "Oh, we're aware that our menu board is incorrect, but this is the new cost. $12÷÷÷" for HALF of a bowl of Acai (always dependent on the servers' mood) and a few berries?♀️ridiculous!!!Explained that it wasn't right to charge another price WELL AFTER you've placed an order from a priced menu board. They say, "Oh, sorry about that?♀️, do you want it or not?" I LEFT & WILL NOT RETURN!!!! Unfortunately!ALL to lose a customer, and $23 sell, and reputation. Not a company I want to represent nor give my $$ to. How hard would ot be to swallow $4.50, honor price SYATED ON BOARD & keep a regular customer.CHANGE YOUR FREAKIN SIGN!!!So ALL KNOW THERE IS an AWSOME ACAI PLACE IN KENMORE- not too far from this location- TROPICAL BERRY- And they're very personable, great service, and delicious options for Acai ✌?TRY THEM!!!!!?

I went to the Shoreline location on Monday and the lady who took my order in the drive-through was extremely rude and condescending which I understand. She probably hates her life but to take it out on a customer that was being nice was unnecessary. Our sandwiches came cold with sausage when I asked for bacon and I ordered a tropical mango smoothie and was given an Açaí I then asked the worker if this was tropical mango said it was even though clearly was not. I just took the drink anyways because I didn’t want to spit in my drink. The girl who took my order was young with dark hair. Used to come here all the time and now I won’t. I see why there was no lines when I arrived rude customer and waiting up to 15 minutes for one drink is crazy. I see a lot of reviews about bad service and I’m not surprised as barista myself I’d never talk to a customer this way

I was getting my tires installed at Discount Tire and just wandered around here, not my usual Ballard hood so don't know spots up here.Was properly surprised! These Brazilian dough-y things were awesome! Perfectly baked, reasonably priced and a big variety of fillings if that's your thing.I ate there, it was very clean inside and since I was there in the morning it seemed like it was mostly a drive through place with folks getting coffees and drinks.I bought more to bring home to the fam and will be back when I'm in the area!

I really enjoy the food and beverages at this cafe. The bread is delicious! The smoothies are always great, and so are their sandwiches. My favorite sandwiches are the guava & cheese and the egg, spinach and cheese. My favorite smoothie is the tropical smoothie with a mango base. My only issue with this restaurant is that the prices seem very very high, especially for the smoothies. I wish they were a little more reasonably priced.

Wanted to try somewhere new. Always enjoy a variety of coffees and sandwiches from different places. By far this one is in my top 10 places. Will definitely come back. I highly recommend. Brazilian latte was good. Spinach Sandwich with cheese was good as well. We ordered a big order. Americano, iced chai, mocha and Brazilian lattes. Ordered 6 sandwiches(gluten free). Bacon, egg and cheese, sausage, egg and cheese, hot dog, prosciutto, egg and cheese. Frutas açaí bowl. Yum!!! Sorry, that I wasn't able to take pictures as WE were looking forward to eating and drinking our breakfast. Come stop by and try their food and drinks. Delish!!!

The food is great, if they give it to you. I don’t know why, but this particular Kitanda has terrible service. I order from them regularly and more often than not I am missing items. How do you forget a whole coffee when it’s the most expensive part of the order? After having that happen this morning, I’m done with Kitanda.Besides their bad service, they’ve also been experimenting with raising their prices using a ghost kitchen. I used to love Kitanda and went to the U-District restaurant for years. I’m annoyed that they can’t actually provide decent service from their Shoreline location. It’s impossible to get a good rating on your food when *you don’t provide the customer their food*.Please get it together. And knock off the ghost kitchen nonsense when your everyday business is failing to give people their proper orders.
