Definitely one of the best dive bars in the Seattle area. Friendly staff, cheep drinks and touch tunes all make it a great low key spot
I have been a semi-regular at North City Lounge for several years now. I am a big fan of the place. Nice dive bar with friendly regulars. The staff has ways been great….. Until now. The last 4 or 5 times I’ve been in there has been a newer bartender working. She is not very friendly nor likeable. I tried to pass this off as to her being new and not yet comfortable. But it doesn’t seem to be the case.
A few weeks back this bartender lost my wife’s credit card. My wife tried to settle our tab, but the bartender couldn’t find her card. Rather than apologize and put in an effort to find it, she just kept serving others.
Meanwhile my wife and I are trying to contact our bank to pause our card.
Thankfully another bartender happened to be there playing pool on her off day. She overheard what was happening and was very helpful. The newer, younger bartender never said anything to my wife or myself. No apologies. She seemed like she couldn’t have cared less.
I am now at the point to where if I go to North City and she is bartending, I just turn around and leave. She has a bad, unfriendly vibe. I don’t remember her name, but she is younger with longer curly brownish hair and a larger nose. Bad energy. 😕

The old 7-Up sign! There are a lot of memories in this place, posted all over the place! Music is good, service is good, drink was good! We will be back!
Nice place. No weirdos or creeps hanging out. Poor selection of beer.
Great mix of dive and sports bar. Bartenders are always nice and friendly. Great prices
The perfect dive bar. Didn’t try the food, but the drinks are strong and cheap. Played some pool and drank some Rainier, after a cocktail. Would recommend!
Nice little dive bar, great bartender, great drinks.
Place is a dive. Good bloody marys
Calm vibe. Many regulars from the Shoreline/North city area. .ost are friendly & kind folks. The crowd here is also diverse. The digital jukebox is usually playing. Great staff of lady bartenders (occassionally a male bartender) that mix great drinks. Beers on tap are out numbered by those refridgerated, so ask.
Several TV screens, generally airing sports.
Food is very limited to snacks like warm pretzels, corn dogs, breakfast sandwhich and a couple other choices besides bags of chips. Sometimes venders book dates and make pizza or burgers in the evenings. Othertimes the bar host and encourage potlucks.
Free & safe cell phone charging.
A covered outside table & seating oversees parking.
Many pulltabs inside to play.
It's an old building with nothing trendy and so it's considered a dive bar.
Parking: Respect the staff parking.
Kid-friendliness: Nope. Thankfully
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot, bar entry, bar area tables and poo table all are. Bathrooms NOT, they are down 1 or 2 steps and woman's room too tight to a squeeze.

Nah. Bar/service is fine but the regular crowd blows. Go elsewhere.

Bartenders have always been amazing and sweet. The drinks are exactly what you expect out of a Seattle dive bar small and the patrons are creepy sometimes.
If you like, dive bars and neighborhoods This is a good one

The best little bar in Shoreline with the funniest nickname. Classic American corner dive bar in the best sense of the words.
