If I’m being real, I’m giving 5 stars to the employees and it has literally nothing to do with the brand Starbucks. I hope the company provides a reward system for those who are mentioned by name because I would like to give a shout out to Laurie who was working the drive through today. She is a shining light in this sometimes dull world. She deserves to be recognized for her kindness and overall demeanor in life. I wish I remembered other staff members names...

Say what you want about the Starbucks oligarchy (and I have elsewhere), the SB cafes I generally visit are a more pleasant experience than most of the local coffee operators in Seattle.
Seems to draw a diverse clientele.
Comfortable as a third place for hanging with friends.

My son has a dairy allergy and carries an EpiPen, so ordering something as simple as a hot cocoa can be complicated. I asked if they could accommodate his allergy and help minimize the risk of cross-contamination. Not only did they take the time to listen/asked questions, but they were incredibly kind and thoughtfull.
