As I do most years, I found myself spending Christmas Eve driving up I5 to pick up my Dad. Part of the tradition is to find a place I've never been before to get some breakfast. This year was a tough one. The first two options Google Maps offered were so crowded that I had to take a pass. The third option was Willow & Jim's Country Cafe in Silvana, Washington.
Getting there was tricky. The pretty voice from my phone sent me down one narrow road after another....

Always friendly always delicious. This place is a hidden gem. When we travel we compare our breakfast to Jim cooking.
Today we went per usual , but today Very disappointed.
