Blazing Onion Burger Co. Whiskey Bar

Raw meat in 2 burgers. The meat was cold to the touch. Not edible. Returned. Fries are some of the worst we have eaten in along time. Staff were polite. Will not be returning. The gig harbor Blazing Onion was never this bad.
Don't like that they ask for a tip before your ever served.
(Please don't reply with condescending report on where you buy the meat and it quality or that raw is acceptable. ) RAW is gross and inedible unless requested. These were RAW with a bit of outside color. The insides were Cold. Fries were not good. Expectations were just to have a good cooked burger and good fries. The staff were nice. The quality has gone way down hill.

Our server, Josh, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly and funny. He knew what we wanted, before we asked for it! We will for sure be back, and if he’s there, we’ll wait to sit with him if we have to. Thanks guys!!!

Burger was smashed looking, overcooked and tasted bland aside from the bacon. I really should’ve read the reviews before eating here.

The food was cold and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. The waitress never came back to see if we wanted anything else. I was very disappointed.

The restaurant has amazing food and a friendly staff. My favorite dish is the southwest chicken salad because the vegetables taste really fresh and the jalapeños add a satisfying level of spiciness.

Love THIS location! Always great food…many options. Good beer selection. Silverdale is so welcoming when we bring our pups to the patio. ?

The sign for this restaurant is kind of hidden so we drove around a few times before we actually noticed where it was. Came here on a weeknight and was able to get a seat in bar right away. Waitress gave lackluster service and was unfriendly. Our food was fine, the spicy Cajun fries were especially good. I would give this place 4 for the food and a 3 for everything else.

To be honest I was not impressed. I have been coming to this place off and on for bout 4 years and I feel the quality has gotten progressively worse. I found my burger (teriyaki) to be soaked in the sauce with my fries undercooked and un evenly seasoned. My wife Mac & Cheese was even worse, all cheesiness promise in the menu up front was a false illusion of what was served. The noodles were plain and dry and the chicken was undercooked. In addition to all of this not only did it make my wife sick but our appetizers were unsurprisingly late and cold lacking a fresh flavor as well. I have loved this place in the past but the standards have definitely fallen and I hate to say this is not the restaurant I once loved, but an impostor. My host and server were ok and that is somthing but doesn’t make up for the terrible disappointment I recieved today. I don’t think I will come again ?

You had better LOVE onions. I ordered a Mushroom Melt and I knew it came with caramelized onions, but a Mushroom Melt should have more mushrooms than onion. E-gad, it had enough onions for 3 burgers. Now, the onion pedals, they were really good.

Imagine you’ve been dating someone for a few weeks and you’ve finally got to the point where you’re about to get intimate for the first time. You’re all excited, and finally you are about to experience the moment… you see the other person and all their glory and you think to yourself… it’s kind of small and disappointing, that’s it? That’s my experience with the Cuban and me opening the lid to my to-go food. Been excited and waiting for this bad boy ever since I had an email sent to me a few weeks ago (I love a good Cuban sandwich). The size is best compared to a kids grilled cheese, I ate it in about 8 bites, really disappointing spending $20 on it after all the excitement. Now the taste was okay but I can compare back to the dating part, will I keep dating this person, yes, they’re great company, but the thought of do I really want to be intimate again… probably not, it was meh. I love the rest of blazing onions menu, especially the burgers and spicy fries so I’ll keep coming back, but am I looking to have a Cuban again, nope!

We waited 31 minutes for 2 burgers after we ordered. Burgers arrived barely warm, fries were soggy, atmosphere is more like fast food, not a good experience.

Just moved to the area. Needed a burger joint and my friends raved about this place. Great service! Sam was the bees knees. The whiskey bar was phenomenal. The burger had amazing flavor. My one and only complaint(hence the 4 stars) was the burger to bun ration. More bun than burger. It was an elegant smash burger. Great bun though! Overall, i would frequent this establishment.
