I cannot rave enough about this gem of a restaurant! My fiance and I both have some dietary restrictions and eat vegan as a result. The menu here had no shortage of options, and everything we ordered was appetizing and delicious. I was shocked at how great the vegan beer cheese was! I also had the gochujang tofu wings, which were to die for. Our waiter was awesome, and the environment is just lovely. If I could give 100 stars I would!
I cannot say enough good things about Breaking Waves! The vegan options here are incredible, and it was so nice to be able to look at a menu and have multiple appetizing options to choose from. Our waiter was awesome as well. Highly reccomend the vegan beer cheese and gochujang wings!
Excellent food. Excellent beer. Had a raspberry saison that was absolutely delicious.
We stumbled upon this place by accident while we were on a scenic drive around the area. What a great find. The menu had so many yummy sounding items it was hard to make a selection. I finally settled on the brisket French dip and my husband had the brisket grilled cheese. They came with hand cut fries accompanied by fry sauce. We also ordered their Kolsch ale. Everything was delicious. The fries could have been crisper but that was the only slight negative. The sandwiches were yummy- tender brisket, a good selection of cheese and interesting sauces. I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to eat here again!
Are you tired of going into a local restaurant and ordering a burger any other way than well-done, and getting it well done? It seems to be a really common occurrence here in this area. We saw that BW had a new menu, and decided to give it a go. They have a nice selection of beer, and we love their Clam Dragger. We generally visit this spot late-afternoon on weekdays, so it's never been really busy. We've been there twice in the past week, because yes, the burgers were just that good. Perfectly cooked medium rare burgers are just a thing of beauty. We are so happy to have them! The fries were excellent and we took a piece of the lemon cake home for later, Although the portion was kind of small for the price, the cake was fresh and light and not too lemony like some lemon cakes can be. Service is spot on and the establishment is clean. What else can one ask for? Love it!
Great place for vegetarians. Excellent service. My husband had the Breaking Waves Cowboy Burger and I had the Vegan Fish & Chips. I also tried the Breaking Waves Silverdale Choco-Mint Porter which was surprisingly good, like drinking a drunken Andes Mint. We will definitely return.
1/8/22 11:35 am - *In order to fit this review, due to lack of space I had to delete my first review from October 2021, we had tried the Breaking Wave Vegan Burger and the House Smoked Rueben, both were superb in taste*We have had such great luck with Breaking Waves Brewing in past visits; we decided to eat there again for lunch today. We scanned the little QR code and read through their menu. Before writing my update, I wanted to voice my opinion on the QR code. It really is a love-hate relationship to me; trying to scroll up and down reading an entire menu on a cell phone is a little annoying and sometimes brutal, especially with a menu against a blackish background; the good side of the bad is that your not touching a menu that many other people have used. So, today I had the Vegan Pineapple Fried Rice, and hubby had the Breaking Waves Cubano.Hubby stated that the Cubano was good but needed more meat; the taste was totally there and would have been perfect with a little more meat; the french fries were excellent with a little crunch and seasoned to perfection! My Vegan Pineapple Fried Rice was so aesthetically pleasing I almost didn't want to eat it. The first bite, I can't begin to explain just how tasty and yummy this was, fried rice wasn't overcooked and dry, wasn't mushy or gummy feeling just the perfect texture, with nice size chunks of pineapple, my second bite was met with a halt; unfortunately, I found a hair mixed in. I don't want this to dissuade anyone from eating there; this place has some excellent food and fantastic staff. Our server was very apologetic and took my food and replaced it promptly.I understand that this sort of thing happens occasionally; it's happened before to me in other restaurants and most likely will happen again; none the less I don't want to eat someone else's hair, let alone my own hair.It is all about how well the server handles themself when a situation like this happens, and Victoria G. passed with flying colors. Besides, there was no way I was passing up the fried rice! We have had Victoria before as our server, and she's friendly, not annoying or pushy, and she handled herself well in this misfortunate event. Why did I decide to write something about this? Because I always try and give my honest opinion when doing these reviews, I want people to go into this restaurant assured that this staff will take care of their customers if situations like this arise. Plus, it's always good to keep ALL restaurants in check; maybe this will be a learning experience for them!We are planning to go back, and if you haven't tried Breaking Waves, you're missing out!*UPDATE* 11/13/21 This is our second time eating at Breaking Wave Brewery, my hubby wanted to try one of their regular burgers, and I decided on the vegan fish and chips. So, although not being a vegan, I mentioned in another post, I often implement vegan choices, healthier and no harming animals. For my vegan fish and chips, I chose their sweet potato fries. You know, the vegan fish and chips don't disappoint; they offered three pieces and a decent helping of those sweet potato fries. The texture of the vegan fish was similar to a cod texture but maybe a little firmer. I wish it weren't deep-fried, but I was eager to try it anyway. This meal doesn't disappoint, a good flavor, my only regret, Is that I didn't request holding the salt or having low salt on my fries. A lot of people would have loved them as is.My hubby enjoyed his burger, 8oz Angus Patty, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Pickle. It was decent in size, and the fries were excellent. However, he wished he would have ordered it medium-well instead of medium; it was a little pinker than preferred, but that wasn't the cook's fault; it was how he requested it. Overall wasn't disappointed!Looking forward to our next visit =DTheir location is 3388 NW Byron Street, Silverdale, Washington - Old Town Silverdale!*Another perfect opportunity to support a locally owned small business; when we he
Great neighborhood venue with 12 house taps and 8 guest taps. They appear to be pretty new and the space is clean and bright. Service is excellent and their IPAs are delicious and the prices are better than most. The Goofy Foot session IPA was particularly good at 4.7%. I love their bar top - pretty cool!
Fish and chips were amazing!! Especially when fries! Beers are yummy. It was quiet but service was excellent!
Great family dining spot! Their vegan menu is about as large as their burger menu which is an interesting combination. All of it was done well. Service was fantastic and they were very apologetic even when they accidentally dropped a burger on the way over (oops). Loads of drinks options, even ciders which are always appreciated. Nice atmosphere for sure.

Love the atmosphere. The service was very slow, drinks were delicious, sweet potato fries were amazing, pretty expensive, extensive vegan menu.
It was nice clean looking atmosphere. Great selection of craft beers. Food was also well presented and taste so good! Our sever, she was very friendly and efficient. Wish this brewery was closer to where we live, but definitely we will be back again!
Dope as hell. Best place to eat and drink in kitsap. Especially for vegans.
Food was good no problems with that. However per one of the servers they can't sell alcohol to anyone with a vertical ID even when they are well over the legal age so it caught my interest. After doing a little digging the statement they made about ID's is false per the Washington State accepted id's page on the government site. I'm bringing this up as they would have easily made around 20$ more per ticket, as well as not lost 2 people i saw leave because of the same reason. I hope the owners see this and hopefully corrects your employees as well. They lost you easy money.
Just discovered Breaking Waves! I have eaten here twice now, and have had the best burger in my life. On Wednesdays, they have $10 burger specials. I highly recommend it! Also, Sandra took care of us, and she is awesome too!
