Kettlefish has the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted! And it’s consistently delicious. When we come to Silverdale (from Port Angeles) we ALWAYS go to Kettlefish for lunch or dinner. And we take home a large bowl of clam chowder. With loads of tender clams, it’s the best! (It doesn’t contain bacon so as a pescatarian I can enjoy it.)

Best clam chowder I’ve ever had! It’s not too creamy. Ordered a medium bowl and they had a generous serving of clams. The fish and chips was good too! Not salty or oily. Definitely recommend for quick lunch!

Overall Rating: 4.5 of 5 (9.5/10) This was our first time ever coming to this cute little (almost) waterfront restaurant. Let me say, we will definitely return. We parked in the back lot, and they also have street parking. Plenty of options. We ordered the captains platter, the cod Baja tacos, and a cup of their clam chowder. We choose to sit outside and it was beautiful out, the seating is shaded, but you feel the warmth and the breeze. It was great! We started with the chowder, had a great flavor, big chunks of clam, amazing. The tacos were next. I barely let my partner try it, I could have eaten like 12 of those Baja tacos. The captains platter had clam strips, fried oyster, fried prawns and a piece of fish (maybe halibut or cod? Not sure) all of the food in the platter was great. It wasn't overly breaded, it was glistening and perfectly seasoned. We did end up going back and ordering the 3 Hawaiian cod tacos. This one was good, but needed a little more in the salsa, would still eat again though. All in all it was roughly $50 bucks, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Honestly very very disappointed. We just got in from Arizona and l've been hyped as heck to get some Pacific Northwest clam chowder with a bread bowl.
This potion size was astonishingly small. The bowl was the size of my fist and the "chowder" was super super runny. Proper chowder is THICC. My pregnant wife and I were going to share but that wasn't even an option due to the portion size. I went in to ask for a refund because of the potion and watery chowder and they literally refused a refund! They said we could have a gift card or she could add more chowder, I told her I was out of state and that we just wanted our money back and they REFUSED! Why would I want a gift card to a place we are just visiting and even the rest of my family said their food was absolutely mid. The fried fish? Mid. Fish tacos that were skimpy on the meat? Absolutely mid. And to deny a refund is actually crazy. Ambiance? It was hot and loud inside for an empty restraint with no one there
