King's Wok Buffet

So it's been about 19 years since I've last been here, now being back in Washington for a short visit, I went back with my mom and my fiance, just for nostalgias sake.
It's changed alot since the last time I was here with both of my parents.
The Asian style buffet is still as I remember, but... to me, the food was okay.
Filling at best. But we came here just for the nostalgia.
If you're looking for a buffet styled place, this is your obvious go to, it seems like they're pretty popular, but who wouldn't enjoy a good plate of Asian food?
But again, I leave it all to personal preference. And this was just a good nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Don't let my opinion stop you from trying a food place like this, especially if you're looking for just a buffet to eat at. They're quite good. But my opinion still differs having come from The Hawaiian Islands where we're spoiled with rich Asian foods on a daily. Lol.
Please. Try kings wok buffet and judge it for yourself with your own preferences. :)

I have enjoyed coming here, but I don't come with a family of ten and demand attention at a self service restaurant. Literally only posting this to outweigh the obviously ridiculous review (it takes 24 hours for food poisoning to have adverse effects, if you're visiting the bathroom minutes after arriving, it's what you ate *yesterday*).

First, when you google map the place it says for cost ~ $10-20. But when I got here it was $25 to get in.

They had several dishes. Some i haven't seen before. But...everything tasted the same, with the same watery/kitcheny taste and texture.

The place was full. (I have no idea why)

Port Orchard buffet far superior!

I'd rather get a burger in Silverdale for now on. ...or even Costco.

Terrible. I'm thinking to not finish my plate. (Might try the ice cream???)

So I have been here twice. Today August 11, 2025 right when the opened and a couple weeks ago in the afternoon. I figured if I showed up today as soon as they opened the food would be fresh and way better. They opened up four minutes early because there was a line forming. How did half the dishes they had out look two days old already? Also the flavor wasn’t there. The fruit was the best part. Except the banana that was black in the middle, that they threw strawberry syrup on. I wouldn’t recommend. Also the soup bowls taste like the sanitizer they clean it with instead of the soup.

WORST food! EVERY single entree was disgusting, and the grill was even worse. Everything was WAY over cooked and disgusting. O and WAY overpriced.

Love this place idc what one other post said with in mins getting violently I'll. Funny it takes 30mins up to 1-3 days for food poisoning to kick in.
Anyway always loved coming her3 been for the last almost 8 years never had a bad experience or meal plus can't go wrong on weekend all you can eat crab to go with the other great food.

Omg it was excellent!!! 22$ I really enjoyed eating there and now is my most favorite place to eat honestly. :)

Great food

Delicious food as always and the service is okay! I like the atmosphere inside, seems very inviting and it’s comfortable, there’s seats for 2-8 people or more if needed for larger crowds.

The people mention cockroaches but that’s pretty much unnavoidable in majority of restaurants like this where it’s always hot inside or humid. Roaches love that type of environment, you rarely see them of course, If you do they are typically underneath appliances in the hotter areas.

If you read their inspection reports it’s usually always good and passes for safe so kind of a nothing burger of a complaint but it’s something to keep in mind.

That being said beside the rare catching sight of these pests, they thankfully have never been in the food itself LOL

Eaten here many times but this last time there was a cockroach 🪳 on the bench. Where there's one there are hundreds if not thousands. If they have it pest control service, they're not doing a good job. If they don't have one, they should be shut down. I shudder to think of what the kitchen sanitation looks like. Clean up your store and get the roaches under control.

Really love coming here for good grub.
