King's Wok Buffet

We need this in Tacoma and White Center.... There is none whatsoever close to this style of cuisine. Alot of money to be funded and stomachs to be filled.

Well, not that great at all. Flavorless food and a staff that are grumpy zombies. Then I looked at the health inspection reports - wish I had done that before I went in, because I would have never went in.......

I have not been to Kings wok in many years. I am not usually a buffet person in general. But I needed a party type room for about 50 people that was easy to find and people could arrive any time within the 4 hour time I set for the party.
I brought my own table cloths and decorations. The only critique I would have is the chairs need to be renewed. Too many old torn chairs. Maybe different style chairs that are easier to clean and look better.
Other than that the staff was great and everyone enjoyed the variety of food offered. Great place for a large group. Everyone enjoyed it.

So it's been about 19 years since I've last been here, now being back in Washington for a short visit, I went back with my mom and my fiance, just for nostalgias sake.
It's changed alot since the last time I was here with both of my parents.
The Asian style buffet is still as I remember, but... to me, the food was okay.
Filling at best. But we came here just for the nostalgia.
If you're looking for a buffet styled place, this is your obvious go to, it seems like they're pretty popular, but who wouldn't enjoy a good plate of Asian food?
But again, I leave it all to personal preference. And this was just a good nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Don't let my opinion stop you from trying a food place like this, especially if you're looking for just a buffet to eat at. They're quite good. But my opinion still differs having come from The Hawaiian Islands where we're spoiled with rich Asian foods on a daily. Lol.
Please. Try kings wok buffet and judge it for yourself with your own preferences. :)

I have enjoyed coming here, but I don't come with a family of ten and demand attention at a self service restaurant. Literally only posting this to outweigh the obviously ridiculous review (it takes 24 hours for food poisoning to have adverse effects, if you're visiting the bathroom minutes after arriving, it's what you ate *yesterday*).

First, when you google map the place it says for cost ~ $10-20. But when I got here it was $25 to get in.

They had several dishes. Some i haven't seen before. But...everything tasted the same, with the same watery/kitcheny taste and texture.

The place was full. (I have no idea why)

Port Orchard buffet far superior!

I'd rather get a burger in Silverdale for now on. ...or even Costco.

Terrible. I'm thinking to not finish my plate. (Might try the ice cream???)
