I posted an update review from a 2 star 5 years ago to a recent visit that I would give 5 star. Food was delicious. Smokey beet salad and Smokey celery soup.
Came in for Father’s Day, impromptu, with no reservation. Took a seat on the patio no problem with a party of 8, almost no wait...busser/host were attentive and super friendly. Server was fast, funny and informative. Waters served with a carafe left at the table for easy refill. Drink orders came out fast and we were asked multiple times how we were doing, if we needed anything, if we wanted additional beverages. Our appetizers came out quickly and were excellent. Garlic cheese bread and a steak bite/bread thing were killer. Entrees were fast and solid. Guys that brought out the entrees were funny and happy. Steak was cooked perfectly med/rare. A couple guests got the pizza and raved about it. Pineapple was grilled. So good. Refilling the dirty wine glass was a little sus lol. Great experience (1st time) we will definitely return.
Very good food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff in an upscale, modern setting. I had the special Grits & Prawns (which was lovely, but more Southwest than Southern) and my wife had the Wedge Salad with a side of grilled chicken. Both were very good and reasonable portion sizes. Very happy that we found this restaurant in Silverdale. Definitely will be coming back!
Very nice Summer outdoor deck, too.
I had lunch for the first time and ordered the daily special sandwich. It was huge so we split it. The bun was way too thick (3 inches) and a thin layer of chopped beef with grilled onion, which was dry. It helped that it came with au jus.
The pumpkin curry soup had good flavor but not much like soup. It was so thick I could turn my spoon upside down and it wouldn’t fall off.
To end the experience, there was a hair on my plate.
It is a beautiful huge facility with lots of room for events and great view.
I might try it again just to give it another honest chance, but disappointed because I was hoping we were getting a good quality place in town.
UPDATE: 5 years ago I gave a 2 star review, I just went back for the first time since then and they have improved . They are a 5 star. My food was amazing. Smoked beet appetizers either host cheese and smoked celery soup either ham was delicious. Tasted like ham & bean soup without the beans.
Always a great time here. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great also. Perfect Father’s Day evening with my family.
I’ve been here a few times now and have been impressed with the exquisite taste (food and drinks alike), atmosphere, quality and class each time. Love coming here!
Place is quiet. Ate at 2pm. Server was attentive and alert. Food was decent. Ceasars salad had too much cheese and the croutons are too hard. But good experience overall.
We usually have great service but the last time we went, the service was far from what it normally is. Maybe it was a fluke, idk. Overall, it is a beautiful restaurant, the food is pricey but good (although I am not a fan of their salads- it looks like weeds & tastes about the same)

My daughter has celiacs and had some questions on how the food was prepared. Our jaws dropped with how rude the waiter (chef?) was to her. He bit her head off after she very politely asked two questions. 1. Are your burgers gluten free? and 2. Was the burger and sides prepared without any cross contamination? That’s all. Her nutritionist told her to ask this simple question and this man very defensively went off for a minute acting insulted saying he knew what he was doing and did she have any questions that weren’t going to waste his time? He “knows what he is doing, Your not in a McDonald’s.” He was rude to the next two people in our party as well before walking away. We started discussing amongst ourselves how shockingly rude the man was when I noticed my daughter was trying to hide the fact she was crying.. It was her birthday. She had gotten all dressed up and had been the one to pick the place. She was so embarrassed and kept apologizing for crying.
We left.
