Lady was very rude. We went up to the window and asked for a menu. She refused and told ustogo to the side of the building where there were lots of cars in line waiting to order. We sid not want to stand in front of people who were waiting for food. We had avery large truck so that's why we went to the walk up window.

I visited Burrito Express today, Saturday, May 24, 2025 (1:10 p.m.), after a refreshing bike ride, and unfortunately, this visit left me very disappointed. I’ve been here once before and had a great experience—the ladies at the window were sweet and welcoming, which made me look forward to coming back. Sadly, the service and food quality this time were unacceptable.
I ordered the Carne Asada burrito, assuming it would be made with the same high-quality meat used in their street tacos. Instead, the burrito was filled with large chunks of fat—so much that I had to spit several pieces out. It was unpleasant to eat and definitely not what I expected for the price ($11.00) When I politely brought it to the attention of the young man working the window, even showing him the fat I had removed from the burrito, I was met with a rude and dismissive response. I asked if he could remake the burrito, and he curtly said, “No, I can’t do that. You’d have to order a new one.”
When I asked if he was denying the quality issue, he replied, “Yes—you can put that in your Google Review.” His tone was sarcastic, condescending, and totally unprofessional. I wasn’t asking for anything outrageous—just a replacement for a burrito that was mostly inedible. Instead of showing concern or attempting to make it right, I felt like I was being talked down to and brushed off.
To make matters worse, my fiancé ordered the Carne Asada street tacos and found actual slivers of bone in the meat. He had to spit them out, which was not only surprising but also concerning—especially for anyone with dental work like crowns, bridges, or sensitive teeth. Carne Asada tacos should not contain bones, and that’s a serious safety concern.
It’s a shame because I genuinely enjoyed this place the first time I visited. But between the poor food quality and the disrespectful treatment we received, I won’t be coming back—and I won’t be recommending Burrito Express to family or friends. Customers deserve to be heard and treated with respect, especially when offering reasonable feedback. This experience made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

I have never had such an awful experience with a restaurant. I ordered a burrito and mulitas with carnitas as the meat. What I actually got was a plate of carnitas and flour tortillas (obviously not what I asked for). I went back to get what I had ordered, and they tried to charge me another $12 for the mulitas on top of what I already paid because they told me that I ordered wrong when in reality, they heard me wrong. I’ve never ordered a carnitas plate before in my life. So, I leave and go back and tell them I want a refund for my food. They then tell me I need to bring the food back. So I leave and come back (meaning I had to load my baby into the car) for a THIRD time. I give him the food, he tells me that the way it looks in the bag is not how it looks when they give it to customers so I’m NOT getting my refund. He tried to tell me it was my fault because I was on the phone talking to someone while ordering, but I was not even on the phone with anyone. I am now out $26 because they refused to own up to the fact that they heard my order wrong. I have been a customer here for years and will NEVER be going back and DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. They tried to gaslight me when I called them out on their mistake. Please take your money somewhere else that will actually take care of their customers. How disappointing.

Best burrito I’ve ever had. Can’t beat the price and service
We call this place crack tacos, because it is soooo good! Awesome customer service too. And they’re fast.

The price for this burrito was a surprise. They're $8. That's about two dollars less than I would have expected. I gave this place an extra star for it.The food is at the low end of acceptable for a taqueria. The al pastor just didn't taste quite right, just not tangy enough. It was just a thoroughly blah burrito. Edible, definitely filled me up, no quality issues, just didn't have the flavor that I expect in my burritos.
Parking: It's drive-through only. There's parking, but you probably won't be using it.
