Ok hear me out. I have lived in Snohomish for 26 years, Fred's has had its ups and downs. It has never been so polished and pleasant as this new iteration. Fantastic family atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, ENGAGED owner, these are the things that make it an easy decision to recommend and to return to. Give Fred's a try, you will like it too. I promise.
Loved the renovation, place has a cool vibe, but the food was pretty terrible aside from the cheese curds, which were awesome. I had the chicken pasta and it was horrible and my boyfriend had the fish and chips, which were just ok. Great selection of scotch, but my cocktail was terrible.
Was very excited to have Fred’s back again. The service we had today was great and no complaints there. Atmosphere was different, less authentic and classic than it used to be but overall not sure we really cared about what it looked like, my husband and I were most excited about the food.
