I'm very fussy about a good pie crust. Pie Dive has delicious crusts.....made there. The selection of savory pies includes an excellent BBQ Brisket with Beer Mac., and Shepherd's Pies with a variety of meat options and vegetables. The salad served with the savory pies is a killer! Arugula with Feta, shredded beets, and choice of Balsamic or Ranch. I had the Ranch and it was one of the best salads ever. We finished the meal with a Sour Cherry Pie that had us wishing we...
We came on Pie Day 3/14! And had a great time, there was no wait (surprisingly!). Service was friendly and fast.
We got:
1. BBQ Brisket and Mac: Would personally not recommend for taste, but for novelty, sure.
2. Shepherds: Delicious! Highly recommend.
Both savory pies came with a massive amount of arugula salad. Portions were pretty small, but since each pie is $15-20, you can definitely get seconds.
3. Humble Crumble: Solid fruity...

Really liked this place. The old fashioned tavern vibe of the Gold Bar place will invite you to pull up a stool & chat with the guys at the bar but this place is way more than just some neighborhood joint. Yes, they have Rainier & Pabst in cans but there’s also an excellent (& rotating) selection of beers on tap and look at that selection of whiskeys & tequila.
