This is the third time I've done a custom order from The Cakewalk Shop and once again, my guests were blown away. The custom Super Mario themed cupcakes were a hit both in terms of appearance and taste. As usual, all of my guests wanted to know where I got the cupcakes from. I am so incredibly glad that I found this bakery to make our wedding cake! We tried at least seven other bakeries and just kept being let down over and over by the samples. We were looking for an excellent carrot cake, but couldn’t find what we wanted. I decide to try one more place before giving up on cake and google led me to this place. The samples we tried were SO DELICIOUS. We were both completely blown away by all of the flavors we tried - we ended up picking two flavors that weren’t even carrot cake (which was delicious) because they were so good and unique. We got one tier of Almond Latte and one of Brown Butter Toffee. Johanna was so easy to book with and the cake they made was exactly what I had pictured. At pick up she let me know they accidentally made it slightly smaller than ordered so they had made us cupcakes to make up for those serving and gave a partial refund. The cake was delicious. I have not stopped thinking of it ever since. I look forward to the next time I have an excuse to order from them! I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding cake/dessert needs. You will NOT be disappointed.

The owner has the best customer service. We had our wedding cake made by them There was a misunderstanding of delivery date and so was delivered earlier, to our surprise this lady took accountability and made us a new cake on the actual date! The cake was amazing delicious and was delivered in a timely manner and setting was perfect! I would highly recommend this place and the bakers. Thank you for job well done!

This is the first review I’ve ever publicly written because truly, the world needs to know how amazing this shop is.They did a small cake and cookies for my wife and I’s Friday the 13th elopement, and they were not only some of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever had but we’re absolutely stunning and captured our vision so perfectly.My wife and I honestly both had our breath taken away when we opened the box. I cannot say enough great things about them and ANYONE who is getting married or having a party or whatever it is should absolutely trust the team here to create something wonderful and delicious for them.

I ordered a custom cake for a special event. The cake turned out beautifully and was pretty close to what I had asked for aesthetically. The blackberry lemon flavor I chose was good, however the cake was really dry and crumbly. There was a lot leftover and I was disappointed that by the next day it was too dry to eat and enjoy.

I had a Grubhub delivery here today. It was for a teriyaki restaurant? not sure what happened but the Employee was very nice about it and the baked goods looked amazing. Have to try now!!!

Beautiful and delicious goodies, and absolutely phenomenal customer service!!! Choose this place!!!I had to journey from Kingston to Everett yesterday to pick up a friend’s wedding cake.. the shop is only open from 10am-12pm on Saturdays, so my time frame was limited. To say I was a little stressed was an understatement… after missing the ferry by 4 cars, I called the shop in a panic and left a voicemail when I couldn’t get through. The owner promptly called me back, and when I cried to her about possibly not making it there in time, she reassured me that the cake would be there and so would she. When I finally made it there, I walked in disheveled and full of tears. The owner was so kind and understanding that the only thing I could do was cry harder. Next, she took a little package out of the fridge and set it on top of the cake box. “This is on me” she said, and told me it was a treat for the way home after a stressful day. I cried even harder, hugged her like my own mother, and made the 4 hour journey back home.Thank you so much for your kindness and grace! I will forever be grateful and will ALWAYS recommend The Cakewalk Shop!!

Overall the cake was alright with tasteful flavor and a unique design. There are some imperfections in the cake which I would look past but for $170 it is hard to ignore.I ordered it with gold and cookies and cream inside. Got the exact color I wanted but did not receive the custom message of Happy Birthday like I have seen on the website. So very disappointing.

The Cakewalk Shop is an amazing bakery run by two awesome woman and I would highly recommend them to everyone that is looking for a cake or desserts for a special occasion. My wife and I were taken care of from the time we inquired about this shops services, to the tasting, and finally to the delivery of the cake, cupcakes, and millionaire bars for our wedding.Not only was the Brown Butter Toffee cake perfectly crafted cake that was moist, sweet with little nuggets of toffee - they also designed a masterpiece matching our wedding colors and style.The Chocolate Salted Caramel and Millionaire bars were a wonderful accompaniment to the cake for our chocolate lovers. We loved everything so much we made sure to pack a few bites of everything for our honeymoon.If I did not live in a different state, I would be finding my way into this bakery any chance I got!

Amazing bakery! We have used them twice now, for a cake for our daughter's christening and then a smash cake and cupcakes for her first birthday party. Not only is everything they make beautiful, but it is delicious as well. The cake is moist and flavorful and the icing is to die for. All of their flavors sound incredible, but we have only tried the vanilla and raspberry since it was so good the first time. Great value for the baked goods and also excellent customer service and communication from the owners.
