best pizza I've ever had!
Our first time dining at this restaurant in Soap Lake. Staff were very friendly, Caesar salad was fantastic and the pizza was outstanding. You do need to call ahead for a reservation as the restaurant is sold out most nights.
Wanted to take our brother and sister -in Law out for their 27th anniversary and try to make it special. Had 2 trusted co-workers who highly praised Sophia's, so we made reservations in advance and made sure we arrived early. No problem, they got us seated right away and the place was already packed at 5 pm on a Saturday. The decor is authentic, and had the feel of real, family run business not a national chain. La Cucina di Sophia | Italian is a lovely gem far from a big city, offering a great menu and a cozy at home atmosphere. The service is wonderful, exceptional, and very good, with sweet and helpful servers. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and top tier from start to finish. The wood fired pizza is better than anything found in Seattle, using Caputo Italian flour, and the pizza oven is a work of art. The pastas are fabulous, the salads are amazing, and the cesear salad is especially delicious. The 10 ounce Filet Mignon steak, flash seared to mid-rare at 900+ degrees in the pizza oven, is absolutely fantastic. Other menu highlights include the Crostini Rossi with added Burrata, Special Stuffed Gnocchi with added mild Italian sausage to Bolenese, and the Carmel Brownie Cheesecake. The DaVinci Chianti and Affogato are also recommended. A reservation is a must, as the restaurant fills up fast. A little spendy, but well worth it. Highly recommended for an incredible experience.
