BBQ was pretty average overall—nothing amazing, but not terrible either. On the pricey side for what you get. The brisket leaned a bit dry, and the cornbread didn’t stand out. Ribs were solid, though. For a spot in the middle of the state, it’s worth a stop if you’re passing through. Dinner for two, with one beer and dessert, came to about $120 after tip. This was a super cool BBQ spot. I was staying in Ellensburg for a couple of days and really felt like some BBQ and found Smokey's. I'm glad I did.

Walked in the door in a Friday evening to the sound of a live trio playing in the corner. That was really cool enjoying live music while my meal arrived.

Really good food. I had the 3 meat platter (baby backs, pulled pork and hot links) with a double order of coleslaw. The service was super friendly, warm and welcoming. I will be back again.
