AK is a great representative of the Chinese-American comfort food that our area is known for. Many folks are too judgemental, insisting that anything that isn't as good as the International District in Seattle is terrible food. And, of course, those elitist fools are 100% wrong. Far, far more folks enjoy a delicious meal like this---a meal we certainly can't duplicate at home. Everything we had was excellent. Wonderful service, as well, and one of the more affordable...

Old school Americanized Chinese food. I LOVE places like this!

I'm so happy to find my new favorite Chinese place.

The only downside: lunch combos don't have sweet and sour soup, only egg drop. Waitress explained that's because they make it fresh for each order, so you can only get it in a big bowl. She said ALL the food is made to order, so that's good.

I wish I could give 5 stars on food and service but I ordered takeout and some condiments were missing: no hot mustard or sesame seeds for bbq pork, no cocktail sauce for shrimp. The crunchy noodles were in with my celery chow mein so were soggy by the time I got home, usually they'rebagged separatewithout asking. Got less almond chicken sauce today than I got last time. I love this place and will just open and check my order before I leave. Otherwise, staff are friendly...
