I've been going to Dave's for years and have always loved the food. Unfortunately in the last couple of years the consistency of quality has changed. 2 for 1 Monday is still a hit for the bacon cheeseburger, Thursday ribs are hit and miss but have gotten more consistent. The halibut is always great on Friday and is now offered on Wednesday. All in all Dave's is still a great place in the Valley for a good meal.
Great breakfast and friendly staff. What's not to love? Dave's is a staple in the Valley, and I've enjoyed every meal there. Usually I get an omelette, but today I split the German sausage special with my wife, and the flavor was on point, with enough food for us to have some leftovers.
Not many home cooking, diner style restaurants left anymore, this is one of the good ones. Not a big pool lace, always clean, and I appreciate their simple menu. I mainly go here for breakfast but each meal they have a special of the day.
