Hubby got me what was supposed to be a peppermint mocha, to go. When he got it home there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The latte itself is good tasting but not what we ordered or paid for.

Natalie and Larena (sp?) we very knowledgeable and kind. They took the time to share the special menu items and find the right drink for us.

Ladder is a good business, but manager Tasha has created something special at this Valley location. The building design doesn’t allow for cozy, but the seating is comfortable and the details such as flowers make for a pleasant atmosphere. Most notable is the warmth and kindness she naturally shares with everyone. The drinks are exceptional and made with care, and the food is delicious. She instills this high standard in all of her employees and inspires by her example of professionalism, so the consistency shows in the high number of regular customers.

I have gotten a dirty chai here a few times now, and every time it is almost undrinkable. The ratio seems off, I’m not sure why I keep trying.

Food is delicious—I’d have those waffles every day if I lived nearby. Drip coffee selection is great, and the staff were very helpful in picking the right variety. We sat outside in the patio area with our dog. It has limited shade but we were the only ones outside so found a table out of the sun. They brought a water bowl for him and had a couple treats too. Plus they use the Joe app rewards system so it’s easy to save a little on their pricey (but totally worth it) breakfast items.

The food and drink were fine. The music was a little loud for me, especially since it was primarily softer covers of other songs. And I wasn’t able to put on headphones to drown it out with what I would rather listen to.
Service was good, i’m just not sure if I would be back. Wasn’t quite the vibe for me.
