Stopped by for a quick to go lunch! Hadn’t been there for quite awhile. The food was excellent! BBQ chicken, German sausages, coleslaw and BBQ beans all prepared perfectly! And gluten friendly. We will be back soon!

I wanted to leave a review specifically to compliment our server, Anthony. I met a friend for lunch on a slow Thursday afternoon and he made our day. Super friendly service, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would go back there just to be treated like that by the staff! Plus the food was great and prices weren’t bad! Two thumbs up.

We ordered the Maverick plate for lunch on Sunday. The Maverick plate came with 2 meat options. We decided on pork and beef with a side of onion rings. The meat was very old and looked terrible when it came out. The pork was a pile of mush. With a very sweet sauce mixed in. The beef was sliced and looked like steak ummm l’s from the freezer aisle.
We should have sent it back and walked out at that point.
The onion rings and iced tea were good. The waitress was very nice and efficient.
I have never seen or eaten BBQ meat that bad before. I normally do not write negative reviews but when you go eat and the food is not edible and you pay a lot for it —- I felt like I should warn others

Went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon was seated right away. Server was very friendly. The Maverick, which was two kinds of barbecue onions were amazing the meat however on both the pork and the beef barbecue looked like they’ve been sitting and heating up for several days and tasted the same, should’ve sent it back the second they said it on the table, but we forced away through itand forced it lightly. McDonald’s would’ve been a better choice for barbecue than the plate we received. It was by far some of the worst barbecue I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of barbecue. It was definitely not fresh. It was definitely not well prepared and just the appearance what it was served was very bad along with a taste. I recommend someplace else.

The server was nice enough, but overall this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I ordered a margarita to start. The first one came out with so much salt that the server even admitted they accidentally got salt inside the drink. One sip confirmed it—it tasted like nothing but salt. They took it back, but the replacement was the complete opposite: zero salt on the rim and zero flavor. It didn’t even taste like there was any alcohol in it, and it felt like the bartender was being petty about it.
When my food arrived, things got worse. About 90% of my brisket was just pure fat—barely any edible meat at all. The chicken and potato salad looked so unappetizing that I didn’t even touch them.
For the price, this was a complete waste. Between the botched drinks and the inedible main course, I won’t be coming back and can’t recommend this place to anyone.

We got an order to go. One pork sandwich & one pork. They were delicious especially with a little more BBQ of their BBQ sauce. I was so nice to not have to cook dinner & still have a gr at meal. Potato salad was excellent!

Much better this time. Last time I reviewed longhorn I only gave them two stars just for the service the beef sandwich was full of grisle. This time four stars same awesome service, beef much better this time tender and no gristle.
