I am a big donut fan and have found it hard to get a decent traditional buttermilk or old fashioned donut in Spokane. Mikes is a special treat for me as it is 30 minutes from my house and usually when I order it is worth the drive.However, today when my husband picked up donuts we were missing the glazed old fashioned we ordered, my glazed french crueller was thick and not airy and barely frosted, we got two persian rolls that were glazed and not frosted (as ordered), and the apple fritters were really greasy. They also put in a chocolate donut which I didn’t order and I am allergic to cocoa.

I don't remember what they called it but they have the most wonderful cinnamon roll with apples in it it's a combination of an apple fritter/cinnamon roll and it's incredible!! All the donuts are wonderful, good coffee and nice folks. ??
