Went last night for dinner waited about an hour for our food to come out. And my Reuben was burnt, I ate it cause I had already waited long enough. Only 1 cook and 1 waitress working, be aware.

My wife, two young children (8 y.o. and 5 y.o.), and my parents ate at McCracken’s for the first time on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Although we ate at the location when it was O’Doherty’s, tonight was the first time eating there under the McCracken’s banner.
We may have visited on an off-night. Although there is a children’s menu, the waitress couldn’t find any physical copies so she had to rattle off from memory what they had. Our drink order was taken twice by two different staffers. Food took a long time to come out. The final bill wasn’t correct.
With that said, the adult menu offered is vast and intriguing. I ordered the beef pasty and my wife ordered the fish and chips. My daughter ordered the child’s cheeseburger and my son got the chicken strips. My mom ordered the stew/salad combo and my dad got a burger. My wife was pleased with her fish and chips and I know my dad liked his burger. My mom said her meal was “okay.” As for my pasty, it wasn’t bad. However, it doesn’t fit the “hearty” placement it is given on the menu. Not only do I think it doesn’t qualify as something that is going to be so filling that you have to take some home, but there is nothing that comes with it. For paying $18.99, it really should come with a side to make it worth the value.
I think I would give McCracken’s a second try but I would order something different. To end this review on a positive note, my daughter absolutely loved her burger! 🍔
We absolutely loved everything about McCracken and can’t wait to visit again. Their Irish dishes were spot-on, and I loved that Smithwicks is on tap!
the servers are kind, but the drinks could use improvement & the food is always top tier
I’ve been to probably 10+ dinners over the last month as it’s kinda a fun trend I’ve started. So when I went here since it was saint Patrick's day weekend,
Upon arrival the place was clean and not over run for a Sunday morning. Which was nice. The place was calm and the music while not Irish music was at least country and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly
I got the Irish nudge to start as I wanted something warm and hearty due to the weather.
(Cold and rainy) it came out great!
I also had black coffee wish came out hot and smooth not to dark or burnt tasting and not to light. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with toast, bacon, sausage and hash brown's
From the time I ordered to the time I got my food was probably 12 mins max so not long which was nice. While eating the staff would check on us periodically while not hovering and also making sure my coffee was always full.
The staff was great the ladies were not under dressed which was nice and very well mannered whiled keeping it lively and friendly.
I will say the rye toast is probably the best I’ve ever had. And the sausage came out incredibly well.
The bacon could have been a little more peppered and crispy but still great.
The corned beef hash is definitely more of a
Pulled beef or pork style meet and was great not to much salt but definitely could taste it the onions and peppers were a great addition to it.
The prices at first sight might seem high but when you get the portions they’re definitely with the money for sure.
