Honestly I see now why Outback is closing locations left and right. Blooming onion was quite the disappointment. By the time i realized the center had still been uncooked with raw batter still on it I stopped immediately. The outside of the onion was overcooked as if the oil were too hot or not changed in several days.

Our server came so quick after sitting down we didn't have time to even think of drinks or appetizers and then ignored us for what seemed like forever - probably 15 minutes. We ordered bloomin mozzarella sticks which were super tasty but we think one half-full little thing of marinara is not nearly enough. Two would have been the bare minimum. We were then ignored for what seemed like another forever - we finished the mozzarella sticks before we could ask for more marinara. Drinks were okay but we weren't offered any additional ones or refills - again we were ignored far too much. At this point we had been there for about 45 mins and we were then offered the opportunity to order food. The restaurant was not particularly busy and the waitress didn't seem overly rushed. I can only assume we were a lower priority than her other tables. Our food took FOREVER to arrive. Our baked potatoes seemed like they'd been under the heat lamp forever but they tasted fine. My gf's steak was overcooked medium well when she ordered medium rare but she didn't say anything because we were so hungry. Mine was a little under cooked when I ordered medium so maybe they switched our preparation requests? It didn't matter. We were hungry enough that we just ate it rather than wait for replacements. After the food arrived we were never offered new water since we'd been there so long the water had literally gotten warm. We were never offered refills on our acholic beverages. We were largely ignored by our waitress and we sat for at least 30 mins after clearly being done with our meal for the check. At that point we had been there for over an hour and a half. She thankfully took our money quickly and we were able to leave after being there for almost two hours. I usually tip servers well but this is the first time in many years I didn't leave a tip. The store is very old, very dated with torn up seats that move around as you shift your weight. The host didn't even want to be there. He barely talked to us as we were seated and didn't even look up as we left.

It took 10+ minutes to even get the bread and a drink order. Appetizer was not good. Pasta meal was sent back. Alice Spring chicken which I always order was dry and not up to standards. Really upsetting that I can’t come back here. The server did his best, but apparently this is what they have to work with.

First, we had a party of 7 and I called ahead and gave my information. I was told the reservation time was saved. When we arrived with time to spare. We were told our table had been given to someone else just before we arrived.
Second, I am a 50+ year old and was required to leave the restaurant to retrieve my driver's license to order a drink.
Third, I have never had a steak cooked properly at this location... until this latest visit. The steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the steak, grilled shrimp and baked potato were all served at room temperature. I always end up with a to-go box for most of my food because my family eats theirs while I wait for my order to be re-done correctly. A new steak was returned, but with the same room temperature shrimp and baked potato. I was done at that point.
I have returned to this restaurant after months of avoiding it because of past food preparation. The only thing they are good at is consistently messing up my food.
I will never return at this point. Go to Texas Roadhouse or Black Angus instead.

We chose 2 different steak salads and they were very good. The amount of red onion on mine was excessive , I removed about 3 tablespoons worth and still had about half that left... but I think it flavored the salad well. For the two meals with a small glass of wine and a mixed drink our bill totaled $70 before tip... While I think the cost was a little high, the quality of food and service balanced that out. We will go back in the future when we are in Spokane.

I haven't been to Outback in some time (probably 2 years) but we decided to try it out again. Did notice a big sign outside saying they were hiring and it was apparent why when inside. Even though there were quite a few open tables when we entered, we had to wait because they really had no greeting staff. Rather the various servers would come and seat you when they had time from their regular duties. I had the steak and ribs combo - 8oz sirloin and half rack of ribs. For my sides I had the blue cheese pecan chopped salad and a fully loaded baked potato. The salad was good, but definitely overdressed. The steak was okay, but not really tender. The ribs were pretty good. All in all, the food was good, but not really exceptional.

After our experience at the Northtown location (see rvw), we decided to use our gift card here as we didn’t want to walk into that environment again. We went in on a Friday night a few weeks ago. We were seated in the bar. The bartender served us and although the bar was busy, he along with the rest of the staff, were extremely on the ball and accommodating. The food was delicious! He even went as far as to bring me some sample pecans so that I could decide which salad I wanted. By far a better experience than we had at Northtown.
My wife and I took our son and his wife out for dinner to outbacks the service was great but the rib eye steaks where smoothed in what tasted like crisco cooking oil and where almost completely inedible. The meal cost $230 plus a tip (The Sevice was awesome) but you should expect more from a restaurant the specializes in steaks
Very good service and the food is good too!
