I found this place to be a great choice for a sit-down meal. The food was good, but the people and atmosphere were phenomenal. There were a series of pictures with the owners grandfather in them telling a bit of their families' story that I found irresistible!

We went for dinner. Took me a little bit to decide as I was starving, and everything looked delicious. Server was very patient. I got the chicken Rancho Viejo burrito, but with the crema sauce. It was fantastic!! Had the cheesecake thing for dessert. It was sooo good!

I was extremely impressed wth this restaurant today! I ordered the nachos wth chicken today and it not only was outstanding in taste but was HUGE! I could only eat half! Everything about this place was so great. The staff, the service and the food was terrific! I recommend checking out Rancho Viejo, you won't regret it!Vegetarian options: My sister is vegan and they actually accommodated all her wishes for a great vegan meal!

What happened here? We've been going for 12 years but there has been a decline. It was a Thursday dinner: Our waiter was terribly rude- he didn't listen to our orders, then literally slammed the plates down on the table! Although it wasn't busy, service was very slow from our drinks to food. He never checked back, despite our drinks being empty. My husband sought him out and asked for hot sauce. We watched him lurking about but he never brought it, even after looking at us. The food was awful! Watery chili relleno with rubbery cheese and bland. There is no S&P on the table. Dry, old rice and food came out lukewarm. Because our waiter never returned, we couldn't get our dinners warmed up. Everything was flavorless. My husband's food was greasy. Finally he returned to get paid. He acted annoyed when I asked him for a to-go box and threw it at me. Lastly, their prices have risen ridiculously HIGH! We'll never return and will stick with Casa D'Oro, who has consistently great service and quality food!

First time coming here. I can't even pronounce what I ordered but sounded good from the menu. It was supposed to have strips of steak in it but I never really saw to much meat, little pieces here and there. All in all it was a gift dine out experience.

worst food I ever had Mendo tasted old and gross my sister ate her soup, but I didn't she had albondigas. She said her tasted gross and old too, but we didn't want to complain I paid and told her it was the worse Mexican food we have had in Spokane ...she did offer to give it to us for free, but I said no it is okay and paid but it was nasty. Honestly, I can't explain how gross it was can Mendo is wayyyyyyy better.

The service was very slow. The restaurant wasn't that busy even though it was Valentines Day. We had to ask for our order to be taken as well as go to the front to get our check. Everyone was friendly. The food was decent. Having to pay for a 2nd basket of chips was weird. Never have I seen that.
