ALBANY was so cool and a for real angel to us all. I've only been in the state for onw week and the patience and absolute great service Albany provided (and the rest of the gang, of course) was phenomenal. AND THAT'S ALL BEFORE THE DOUGHNUTS THEMSELVES, which are huge, incredibly priced, and a gorgeous treat for a gorgeous day!! And grreat coffee w delicious specials!!

I used to go out of my way to get their donut holes, but the last trip I made there was, they told me they aren’t making them anymore. So, I guess I’ll be going somewhere else.
We ordered over 10 dozen donuts for our wedding in early September. They were able to accommodate our food allergy needs, and made on time for pickup. The donuts were HUGE and delicious!!! Fluffy, high quality. HIGHLY recommended.

The donuts were okay. Not the best I've had in Spokane Valley. They are kind of spendy.

I've been wanting to try their donuts but it's a long drive from home so I decided to pre-order through Too Good To Go app because I have a dental appointment in the valley. I paid for two boxes night before and decided to do my other errands close to the area to save time and energy (I recently gave birth). I called 15 minutes before they close to let them know I'll be late and if it's okay. Lady on the phone said she canceled my order an hour ago. Checked my email and notification was sent there (who checks their email hourly?) I feel like they should only offer their products with Too Good to Go close to their closing or after - not ahead of time.
Well I am ruined for life. This was my first time here and This place just ruined donuts for me everywhere else. They might be the best donuts in the state. The chocolate isn't super sweet, but just the right amount of sweet. Like Amanda who was working this morning. They are not cheap at all, but so worth it. You will not regret the price, the calories or dealing with all the stupid round-a-bouts to get there.
OMGoodness, I have lived in this area for decades and never have stopped in here before. This donut shop is the BEST! Staff is attentive, kind and patient. The donuts are AMAZING! So many to choose from. My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly! Wow. We will definitely be back next time we indulge in a donut craving!
Scrumdiddlyumptious used to be so good, and these donuts are PRETTY bad. They’re super heavy, the icing doesn’t go to the edge on top, and the flavor just isn’t there. Leaves a weird film in your mouth.
Plus the barista kept questioning our choices when we were trying to order drinks.
As a treat for finishing the school year, I took my two young kids to Rise Espresso & Dough Co. for the first time on Friday, June 13, 2025. We arrived during a huge rush so we stood in a long line (which is actually a good sign). We finally got to the front and ordered three donuts—one for each of us. My 8-year-old and 5-year-old each got a Reese’s bar and I got myself an apple fritter. The fritter is baked in an extra large size and I lucked out by getting the last one. The lady who took our order was enthusiastic, kind, and bubbly—I really appreciated her hospitality and her willingness to give us a water cup. The total came to $12 which is a little pricey but to be fair, that was the exact same price we paid for three donuts when we were up north a few weeks ago and visited Retro Donuts.
We ate our donuts inside the shop. It is a very clean and inviting space with durable/high quality tables. The donuts were good. I think I actually liked the kids’ Reese’s bars better than my fritter. The peanut butter icing/topping was really good and the freshness was superior. My fritter was gigantic and I was able to take half of it home to my wife. Now that the Valley Causal Friday Donuts is closed, we will definitely visit Rise again. The product is good and being served by a kind staff is always motivation for me to return again.
