Thrifty Scotsman Drive In

I had heard about this establishment for quite some time but it is always very busy here. I finally made the decision to stop by. to my surprise it is much bigger on the inside than it looked, with lots of seating and plenty of room to accommodate about of people. The food was worth waiting for and the employees were great! The fish and chips are really yummy and I've heard that their sandwiches are to die for... I'll definitely be back in to try them!

Great food for an outstanding price. Love this family-owned business, they truly try and keep things affordable without compromising on the quality or quantity. Double ham, double bacon or just a regular cheeseburger, all good and the fries are great!!!!

This place is PERFECT! It’s amazing and consistently amazing! I am picky about fish and they make the best fried fish I’ve ever had. It’s reasonably priced and the portions are PERFECT! No too much food, just the right amount! My kiddo also loved the chicken strips! The staff is very kind and food comes out quickly! 10/10!!!

The owner is a heck of a guy , real nice and all about your satisfaction . Service is good but just a little wait when busy .
Nice air conditioning and a decent amount of seating . I don't like that they don't have combos, can only buy each thing separately. Give it a 3 star because it's a burger joint so nothing special but I will say it's my favorite burger place by far.

If we are talking about the one in Spokane Valley, WA. They were outstanding when I lived in the Valley. I went there a few times in about 2010 -2015

I recently visited Thrifty Scotsman and had a very disappointing experience. I waited over 30 minutes for my meal, which is completely unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. When I brought this up to the manager, not only did they refuse to offer any kind of discount or compensation for the long wait, but they were also incredibly rude. The whole encounter left a bad taste in my mouth—ironic, considering they didn’t put anything out for me to actually eat during that long wait. I’ve always been a fan of supporting local businesses, but this experience left a bad impression. The service and attitude need a serious improvement if they expect customers to return. Maybe they should have a better trained staff who can actually handle the workload. This stuff obviously could not.

Thrifty place to eat. Good burgers. Great prices. Nothing fancy. Great service. Highly recommend.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level, restrooms are the only thing NOT wheelchair accessible.

First time here and it will not be the last. Best burger I have had . Fries are so delicious and the strawberry short cake is amazing as well. I wish I can give a 10 star.

The reason for 4 stars is the price of small onions and portions you get. $5 Bucks for a small onion rings and you don't get much. You can get another thrifty or scottsman burger for that price. Other than that. Love the place. Great food. Awesome employees. I recommend this place to everyone.

All this time... had no idea this gem was right on Sprague. Great food; I really liked the hand cut fries and they give you quite a lot. Will definitely be back.
