Stopped by Skipper's on a Friday night before a show. We have always enjoyed this location, they use real dishes and silverware, friendly staff, homey atmosphere. Oh, and the fish and fries are hot and crispy, delicious! We tried the Friday prime rib too, good deal: nice cut, loaded baked spud, coleslaw, garlic toast. Definitely a good deal for the price.

With how delicious they are, it's hard to believe there are only three Skipper's restaurants left in our state. One in the Seattle area, one in the Tri-Cities, and ours here in Spoke-a-loo. Their fish filets are perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. Their chowder is consistently good, and prices are very fair in these inflationary times.
