I wish I could award six stars, as our visit to Boots was absolutely fantastic. The vegan and gluten-free selections were a delightful surprise, especially for my girlfriend who navigates several dietary restrictions. Thanks to a knowledgeable staff, we were seamlessly provided with delicious options. The pumpkin waffles were outstanding, but the sweet potato and tofu dish stole my heart. Not to overlook their pastries, which were also exceptional--I ended up spending at least $40 on them, and each was worth every penny. The cinnamon roll, in particular, was a standout for me; I've yet to find a gluten-free roll that tastes as authentic as this one. It was incredibly impressive, and we're eagerly looking forward to returning to Boots on our next trip to Spokane.

We had a vegan cake today and it was almost not edible. The "cake" had a very raw, chewy, eggy texture and the frosting tasted like it was store bought Betty Crocker stuff with double the sugar. Even the kids thought it was too sweet and didn't like it. My 2 year old absolutely loves cake, and after one bite he said "ewww yucky".I see this place has some great reviews, so I don't know what happened with this particular cake, but it was just not good. I gave this place 2 stars instead of just 1 because at least the design of the cake was still very cute.

Nestled off Main and Division, Boots Bakery surprises with diverse I'm learning they are more than a bakery. They hold savory food items as well! It's a must try! Staff are awesome! It's in the Saranac Commons next to Hatch Coffee. Community seating, lots of wonderful business in there. Lunch Variety: From Primavera's to Curry. They have a really good menu for Vegan & Gluten free food Vegan & Gluten-Free Must-Try: Indulge in the Potato Croquettes with their delectable sauce. Scones & Cookies: all Vegan & Gluten Free

If you're going there looking for a delicious loaf of freshly baked bread, you will not be disappointed....but you will not have gotten that bread. Instead you'll find yourself going there every morning for your short stay in Spokane getting a delicious array of 70s style salads and yerba mate on tap! 11 out of 10. Also I don't think they sell footwear (didn't ask however), but they have the best tofu scramble I've ever had. Come to think of it the seating isn't very loungey either. Try their pecan rolls!Vegetarian options: Everything
