I met up with a friend here on my way to the airport to head back to Portland. The food was pretty darn good. They have a pretty standard menu with some great fresh twists on traditional items. I got the Eggs Florentine which was delicious. It was all perched on a piece of rosemary toast that really elevated the dish. Their pastries are wonderful! I did get to try a croissant before they sold out and it was perfection. My only issue with this place is that it is INCREDIBLY busy...
This is our family's favorite place. I like breakfasts and dinners here. Different menus for breakfasts and dinners. Always fresh pastries that melt in your mouth. Delicious coffee. The service is excellent. And a vintage interior. You will like it
It’s been about a year since I’ve been here. We are from out of town. It’s always been our favorite breakfast stop. But I heard the my are under new ownership and it shows. The food was very bland. Breakfast for two with some pastries, which of course still seems awesome, was $80. I think the bakery manager is the same under the new ownership and that shows but if the breakfast food remains the same tasteless food, I may be looking for a new stop when in town.
