The pork medallions and house made spaetzle were great. The mushroom sauce tasted great just wish the mushrooms were cooked down a bit more. The gravy becomes a little pasty when it cools. Good beers on tap. Open until 2am and has a separate bar and restaurant. Menu changes depending on the time of day.

Excellent place to eat. Was very flavorful, hearty, filling, wonderful and reminded me highly of my German mother's dishes. The staff were very friendly and warm. Very worthwhile for a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

I ordered a schnitzel sandwich with only mayo. My order was burnt around the edges and it had lettuce, tomatoes and onions on it. I'm allergic to onion. Although the apple pastry was pretty good, the small portion was not worth $7.

Spokane’s northside hosts a cultural food gem with Das Stein Haus. In a mall you’ll find Euro pub-style decor, German music, and menu options creating a transformative and relaxed dining experience - you halfway expect Rick Steves to pop out and give travel narrative. Cabbage rolls, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and stroganoff were excellent. Carrots and green beans were meh, lentil soup was flavorful, draft German Kostritzer beer was omg good. Service was attentive, pleasant, & efficient. Breakfast Sat and Sun 9am-2pm, plenty of free parking. Prost!Kid-friendliness: Large tables, room for kids to move around a bit, atmosphere is relaxed.
