Seriously the best latte I've ever had.
Derailer Coffee is the newest start-up in town! I went in just the other day, and was impressed with how personable the staff are. It was right before closing, and they brew me a fresh iced tea. I must say it was the best tea I've had in quite some time. It was wonderful to meet some people with a genuine concern for making each cup they serve the finest cup possible. We've loved our experiences at Derailer Coffee. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They're ecocentric, their mugs were made by a local hillard artist, and the black tea and lattes we've enjoyed were amazing!

Derailer Coffee is a cool place in Hillyard, possibly the best in Spokane. The whole building is several shops wrapped into one, featuring a brewery and coffee shop on the main level and a toys & vintage store upstairs. The atmosphere is gorgeous and perfect for a meeting spot, with space for large groups. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable.
They serve excellent coffee made with locally roasted beans, including real coffee like from Italy and decaf espresso options. Drinks are deliciously crafted with pure artistry, such as a unique, sweet, savory, and filling miso coffee. They also have great teas and a chai latte, plus a long list of house-made syrups. Pastries are available. The business is passionate about supporting the local community, with even their cups handmade by a local potter. Parking is free and easy on the street.
