My go-to is a chicken fried steak. I feel as though even a mediocre one is great. That being said..... this place might have the best country fried steak I've had in a dang long time. The batter is slightly sweetened, the country gravy is rich and luxurious, the sausage in it is chunky and perfect. I always add extra black pepper and a vinegar based hot sauce...(think tabasco) but they had a variety of hot sauces to choose from. Some locally sourced so we tried multiple....
First time today, hands down the best breakfast... Amazing gravy. The omelet, wow. Every bite was tasty. Thin egg wrapped made it so you can get the full taste. The sweetest older couple, I will never forget. The owner was super sweet. We will be going back ?
