This place was GREAT! I gave the food a 4 not because it was bad but they don’t offer proteins for their salads. And the salads still 14 bucks. It was a pretty good salad, but it was just lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. No Option to add any protein. The salad also was not particularly big either. Service was amazing my husband had the hamburger and I swear it was the best hamburger I’ve ever tasted! The environment was also great.
I moved away in 2018. Every single one of my friends where I live now knows about my obsession with the Durkins burger. There hasn't been a trip home that I haven't eaten at Durkins because it's that integral to my enjoyment of Spokane. The family that owns it is gold, the employees are all gold, the food is gold. Try the fried bologna sandwich too!
I almost fell out of the couch when I ordered a nice scotch and the server asked if I wanted in a rocks glass or a glencairn glass. Bravo. BTW, you had me at couch.
This joint checks all my boxes. Comfortable seating! (Unlike next door) Excellent, TABLE service. Appreciative staff. Killer food. And you already know this, the best burger in town.
