I love the whole ambiance of durkins. I personally enjoy sitting at the bar top where I can watch the food be prepared. Last night I was there solo dining and had the pleasure of chatting with one of the chefs. It's always nice when the staff have the time and the personality to chat you up. This place is small, dark, gloomy, and fabulous! The atmosphere is energetic and loud. We loved it! The service and food were excellent. We had pasta, steak, and of course.....the famous burger! All perfect.

Returned to Durkin's a couple weeks ago, and for the first time we were placed downstairs in the bar. While upstairs is great, from now on we want to be seated downstairs. Great atmosphere and the food as always was very tasteful. However, the highlight of the night was our server/bartender Curtis. This guy was cooler than the other side of a pillow. He was working the bar and what seemed like the whole room and never did we have to wait on the multiple items we ordered....
