We tried Kismet last night for the first time. This a very cute place on the inside that also is super casual and no frills despite the menu. Our server was really kind, and she mixed up a beer order but caught it and fixed it immediately, which we appreciated. The ceviche was delicious, as was the short rib. My main, the paella, was unfortunately a disaster. The entire thing tasted like someone accidentally dumped a container of salt on it. This wasn't mildly salty... It...
I can’t adequately express how savory, multi-layered and exquisite our food was. We started with white linen-Rita’s and ordered the octopus, Arepes, and duck confit. I thought I didn’t like molè, but I learned tonight that I’ve only had inferior molè. Kismet is 10-fold better than anything downtown.
Our family ( party of 7) had an absolutely fantastic experience at Kismet! The service was amazing, ambience was perfect and the food was DELICIOUS. Best Ceviche I have ever had, hands down. We each chose a different entre and it was so hard to choose my favorites. The cod and paella were to die for.
