I took my two kids age 11 and 5 there and also with texture issues (minus the risotto,I loved it though) with the kids who were able to find things that made it work. We were waited on with patience. Came about 5:00 on a Friday in July would definitely come again. It was quiet, just before the hustle and bustle.
Our server was very good at reading between the lines on kids with texture issues.

We went in for afternoon drinks.
Our waiter asked if we needed anything else as he was getting off shift. We ordered another round and asked to pay out the bill, which he decidedly did not ask us to do.

I worked as a server and always try to pay out whoever waits on me and start anew is someone is getting off shift.

Anyway, when the later afternoon shift came on we were absolutely ignored by three different servers.

The Pappardelle dish was fantastic! The different flavors that went into the sauce and the fresh meatballs seemed to surprise you at different times. I tried their Earl-grey lemonade drink and at first the earl-grey syrup seemed light, until you got further down. I will want to come back in the future.
