First time here. Ordered a grilled club and the grilled puff pastry, $14.50 ea. The sandwiches come with a pickle spear and handful of pretzels. You can combo for an extra $6.50 to get a cup of soup and a can of soda. Purely on price; a sandwich, cup of soup and can of soda for $21 + tax + tip feels steep to me. The place was busy and loud, 1pm lunch, and felt a little dingey. I watched a cook holding tortillas against his dirty shirt as he walked to the warmer, no hair nets...
Sandwiches that my wife and I ordered were delicious. I highly recommend the Spicy Reuben. They kept several things such as service, atmosphere, and serving ware simple. More rugged, industrial, atmosphere, but friendly! Don't expect fries with your meal you get pretzels. Their smackaroni salad was pretty good. For under $15 a sandwich, I highly recommend giving one a try!
Just okay... Service was great for a to-go order, just what I needed, short wait, ready when I got there and an easy transaction. Unfortunately, the food just didn't hit home. The bread on my sandwich was kinda stale and the pretzels were REALLY stale. I love pretzels and wasn't expecting them with my sandwhich so it was a bonus... That said, if you are going to offer a side, make sure the side is fresh. Worth giving it a second chance, but they are on thin ice with...
