We’re from out of town and recommended lantern. Megan was our server. Best service I’ve had in YEARS. Food was ok but the drinks were amazing. I’ve never had a cocktail be so custom for me and made perfect.

I miss the old cozy, friendly service & good food. Now it’s just trying to be a hipster bar! Service sucks! Disappointing food, rude bartender who ignored us for the first 10 mins we got there. Tried to get a menu, bartender finally looked up & said “I’ll be right with you.” When he finally came over he said they were only serving a few things from the fryer still which didn’t included fish & chips which is why I was there. Not sure why they weren’t included they are from the fryer? I ordered a beverage & he turned & walked away without asking my guest what she wanted. Rude. A couple guys came in & sat down & he got them drinks before coming back to our table. I said “she probably wants a drink too?” We stayed for some mediocre fried food (not fish & chips) and left disappointed. I will not be back! I miss my neighborhood pub,

I've only been in once for lunch, I ordered the Perry Cheesesteak, it was SO good, I would love to go back sometime and try some of the beers that they have on tap.

Dropped in Friday, January 10th at 10pm. Bartender dude was clearly intoxicated, slurring, and stumbling around the bar. He told us the kitchen was closed, so we didn't get to eat anything and just had a beer. But I think it's pretty egregious to say to customers the kitchen is closed with an hour before the night is closed with only like 10 people in the bar. I understand if it was 10 minutes before close, but an hour?
Hard sell to go back and give it a go again.

Fun night! Met some good friends there, they had already ordered and eaten, but the service and kitchen was fast! Megan was a fantastic server and provided our beverages quickly. We picked from the regular menu, but the fresh sheet looked quite good. I had the monster mac and cheese, lovely bride had the big bowl of Ramen. Portions were huge! I really should have taken half of the mac home, but it tasted so good I finished it in short order. Lots of beers on tap, full bar, appealing appetizer list... decent music which was below conversational volume... pleasant and allowed for the requisite 'catching up' with our friends.
We definitely want to come back and try other menu items. Nice it is near our neighborhood!

Hard to find a quality place to eat at after 9pm in Spokane on weeknights. Hit South Perry Lantern after a night at the casino and it was amazing. Food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Stefan is perfect for this place. He was working the room like a master.
