Very disappointing steaks. Lacking flavor. The cook was good, however the quality of the meat may be subpar. I got the New York and my wife the sirloin. Both steaks suffered from the same deficiencies and were very chewy and tough to cut. The chimichurry had a strange aftertaste similar yo celery. House salad dressing on the salad was not to my liking but that may be a personal preference. The Bacon & Bleu cheese fries were excellent though, so the restaurant clearly has good food. It just may not be the steaks. Overall extremely disappointed. $120 Including tip for two gross steaks, waters, salads, and a shared appetizer is hard to swallow.
Won't be going back and would not reccomend.

See update below.
Food was good but overpriced for the quality. The steak was just OK for a $47 plate of food, and they undercooked it. Ordered medium rare, and it was mooooooing. Crab cakes were delicious, and dessert was amazing.

Same deal! Steak undercooked and this time it was chewy and full of gristle and connective tissue and about 3/4 of an inch thick. Doubt it weighed 14oz. Veggies came out barely warm.
They comped the steak, which was nice.
It was so loud I couldn't hear my wife and conversation was all but impossible.
Server was nice but had too many tables so the service wasnt that great either. Slow, and my wife had to go to the bar herself to get a drink.
I think we will just avoid this place from now on. Way overpriced for the quality of food and atmosphere.

My favorite restaurant in Spokane. One of the few places that always gets my ribeye done right. Quality ingredients and personalized service. The staff make you feel comfortable and the place has a Cheers vibe.
The salmon melted on my mouth

If you’re going to use an on line wait list make it timely and truthful. Went to the Barrel after checking the waitlist several times where it stated “0” minutes wait time “come on in”. It was a 30 minutes wait wait when we arrived 7 minutes later….love the food, the atmosphere, seemed like they might have been understaffed. Got main course before starters. Means had obviously been understaffed a heat lamp and were brought by a different server. Somewhat disappointing as usually the service is top notch.

The food was great and the atmosphere outside was very nice. The service was good which was impressive due to it being fairly busy right after opening.

I recently had dinner at The Barrel Steak & Seafood House and honestly had a really good experience from start to finish. We had a group of five of us on a Tuesday night around 6:30 pm, and it ended up being the perfect time to go. The restaurant was not overly busy, so there was no wait at all, and we were seated right away.
One of the best parts of the evening was being able to sit outside. The weather was beautiful, and the outdoor seating area made the whole dinner feel relaxing and enjoyable. The area around the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and it was a great spot to unwind, talk, and enjoy a good meal with friends.
The restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable feel to it. Nothing felt rushed, and the environment was calm and easygoing. Our waiter was polite, friendly, and very attentive throughout the meal. He answered all of our questions without hesitation and made sure we had everything we needed. Good service always makes a difference, and they definitely delivered here.
I ordered the Bourbon Apple Pork Chop, and it was excellent. The pork chop was cooked well and had a great flavor on its own, but the bourbon cream sauce really brought the dish together. The caramelized onions and apples added a sweet and savory balance that worked perfectly with the pork. It had a rich flavor without being overpowering. The mashed potatoes paired really well with the sauce too and completed the meal nicely.
You can tell some care went into the presentation and preparation of the food. Everything tasted fresh and homemade instead of rushed or thrown together.
Overall, this was a very solid dining experience. Great food, friendly service, clean restaurant, and a relaxing outdoor atmosphere. I would absolutely come back again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice steakhouse style dinner in the area.

Great Mother's Day dinner, they don't take reservations but joining the wait list on their web site is a must.

The service was great, and the steak was delicious. The steak could have been a bit softer, but overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!
Went for lunch and food was ok, not worth the price. Service was horrible. Waited an hour after ordering to get our food.
