Had an amazing experience here all around. The food was absolutely incredible. The crispy duck wings are a must! Every bite of every dish we had was an experience in and of itself. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect as well. Will definitely be visiting again.

The server was very friendly and it was our first time there. He made our experience very good. Try the bocce rolls.

Cocktails are top notch, food and service are passable, but the ambience is unforgettable.

Placed seemed ok and sever was nice. But then we got the food. The place is way overpriced and dishes not executed in even an edible way. We spent a lot of time confused at the mix of ingredients or why the dishes tasted so badly. $90 traveling the menu and not one dish was palletable. Every bite made us wonder why it was so bad, or why we paid so much. We felt like we could have done anything else with our money and been happier lol. Stop, turn, run! We love Spokane and supporting local businesses. However we felt we threw our money away here.Turn around and go literally anywhere else.

This has to be one of my favorites! Tucked away below the streets of Spokane you will find this humble yet fancy restaurant with what appears to be comfort food on the menu!?? I love it! Mac n cheese, deviled eggs, and my personal favorite tater tot casserole. The tater tot casserole is made with braised brisket! A must try. This is a great place to eat but make sure you get reservations towards the weekend because they are busy!

1st time at the Gilded Unicorn and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It was during Restaurant Week so it was a 3-course dinner. We both had a Smothered Chicken dish which was fabulous! Bocce Roll appetizer was the best-tasting bread I have ever put in my mouth. And ended with an Orange Carrot Cardamom Doughnut Hole dessert which was different and delicious. Service was friendly and altogether outstanding! The restaurant itself is in the old "boiler/coal room" of a turn-of-the-century downtown building! Cozy, romantic, historic, comfortable. The Gilded Unicorn has it all!

This was honestly such an amazing experience, the atmosphere is so unique, artsy, and cool. But it’s not just the atmosphere that sold me, it was the service and the food. Our waiter was Bradley and he went above and beyond to accommodate our experience he was so kind and attentive and so fast too. The drinks were so delicious especially their virgin cocktails as somebody who does not drink alcohol. Let alone THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. I’ve never had such unique flavoring and presentations. If you go here I would recommend the Bocce Rolls as an appetizer. This place is certainly something else. Thank you ??

My husband and I love traveling to Spokane and supporting local businesses. We popped into the Gilded Unicorn a few times mostly for the atmosphere. The last time we were here the staff was beyond rude. We waited for a good 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. The bartender seemed irritated we were in his eyesight. We waited patiently, trying to be understanding (everyone has a bad day). It wasn't busy which made it even more awkward. We used to recommend this place to our friends visiting Spokane, we won't be recommending this place in the future.

5 stars for drink and ambiance but the food is sub par. Felt like I was eating food from Costco with a crazy mark up.Edit: Attempted to go in tonight for a drink. Was told they couldn't seat us. Not that we needed a table but the bar also had seating open. If you don't want our business again that is fine.

Service was great, duck wings yum, bocce rolls omg, deviled eggs yes, 4 stars is for the Buffalo Mac. Just no, thought I was getting fried Buffalo chicken on top of mac what was served was unseasoned boiled chicken mixed in mac with dry "fried" chicken seasoning, legit flour and spices and a healthy squirt of wing sauce, then topped with shredded pickled carrots??? What in the season of all things holy happened to the yummy dish I thought I was getting that cost $26 dollars. Stop the madness. Felt sick all night from picking at this dish.
